Ambalama serves traditional, International and Chinese cousin. In keeping with the tradition the Restaurant serves a predominantly Sri Lankan Food. How ever the Guest have choice of a Western meal if they so desire. Both breakfast and lunch are in buffet style while dinner is strictly ala-carte. A choice of snacks and drinks from hot tea, coffee to fruit juice is available.

Ambalama provides for overnight and weekend stay in aesthetically designed cottages built among lush green vegetation interspaced with naturally occurring water ponds. The cottages resemble village cottages of our forefathers engaged in traditional professions or crafts namely farmers, physicians, blacksmiths, carpenters, potters, teachers. Each cottage is unique and has its own identity. Each has the features that are in keeping with the relevant profession. The most recent addition was built to resemble the Dutch Colonial heritage.

Amabalama also provides outdoor catering facilities and arrangements can be made for functions in the garden. Among its facilities swimming pool with a pool side bar again keeping the natural theme of the place.
